David was five years old when I helped him at pre-school.
He especially liked to use scissors and cut different shapes from colored paper.
Then he liked to paste the cut colored paper onto another sheet of paper to make pretty designs.
Some of his designs looked like flowers and some looked like people or animals.
He liked to put very bright colors together, like lime green and fire-engine red!
He was a quiet boy and working by himself with his art made him happy.
Sometimes he would spend the whole day except for recess playtime and lunch at a table cutting and pasting his beautiful designs.
I liked his pictures very much!
